OpenBSD giving some love to the EEEPC.
Here. I'm not planning to buy one any soon, but it could make a nice intelligent router for a friendly price.

The Eee 900, has a very good 9" display, 1GB RAM, 20GB SSD it's a good machine for the "tracking photographer" (something I am not).

For me, the external monitor connection and 3 USB 2.0 ports are very useful (for when I'm selling photos in the event). It would be better if it could do "a dual-head setup" instead of mirroring (I don't know if it is capabel of it), and if the SD slot reader was a CF slot reader (with an included adapter for SD->CF).

Anyway, I'm not buying one of these right now, but I'll certainly keep an eye on it. At US$ 1000,00 it's just too expensive here in Brasil.

A neologism. :)

A photographer that does "tracks". :)
